Our arc flash protected switchgear combines arc-fault optical sensors with ultra-fast ACB trip units (<2 ms) to quench arcs before pressure builds. Arc chutes and pressure relief ducts channel hot gases away from operators. The system meets IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E Category 0 requirements when doors are closed.
