Our company produces the KYN28-12 indoor communication metal armoured open type switchgear(hereinatter referred to as the switchgear), department ofthree-phase ac50hz single busbar and double bus section system of indoor complete sets of power distribution equipment, applicable to power plants, substations, and industial and mining enterprises of rated voltage 3.6~12kv power grid, as acceptance and distribution of electrical energy, and the circuit implementation ofcontrol, protection and monitoring.Switch cabinet can be used both domestic well-known brand vacuum circuit breaker(VS¹series, for example), and can choose the intermational well-known brand vacuum circuit breaker(such as ABB VD4 series, the series of Siemens 3ae, schneider company HVX series), can also beinstaled isolation devices or below 12 kv vacuum contactor, complete sets of equipment can meet the requirements of power grid forhigh voltage switchgear, and is suitable for "ive prevention"and the full process, fuly enclosed, the insulation condition, it isa kind of superior performance ofthe power distribution device.

Structure Characteristics
The switchgear produced by ourcompanyis designed based onthe metal-clad enclosed switchgear of GB3906-06. The swichgear com- pisesof such two parts asthe cubicle and the withdrawable unit of intermediate type(handcart). See diagram 2; The enclosure ofthe cubicle is dividedinto 4compartments, the degree of protection for the enclosure of the cubicle is P4X, and the degree of protection forthe circuit breaker compartmentand other compartments is P2Xwhen the dooris open. The switchgear has such functions as overhead incoming and outgoing feeder, incoming and outooing cable, which can beused as power distribution device when arranging these cubicles based on each solution according to usages.
1. Enclosure and others
The enclosure, assembled with steel plates whichare coated with zinc& aluminum, is processed by CNC machines with multi edging technology, hassuch advantages as high pre- cision, strong mechanical strength, beautiful appearance, lightweight, anti-corrosion and arti- oxidization. The assembling configuration connected byriveting nuts and high-strength screws makes productioncycle short, versatility strong and occupying area small.
2. Hand Cart
The framework of the handcart isassembled with steel sheets which are processed by CNC machines. The handcart is cooperated with enclosure insulation. The mechanical interlock is safe, reliable andflexible. The handcart can be divided into breaker handcart, voltage t- ransformer handcart, measurement handcart, isolation handcart and etc. based on theiru- ses. The handcartis changed based on modulus and building blocks, the handcarts of the same specification are interchangeable. The handcart has such positions as breaking, te- sting and working. Each position is equipped with a positioning device respectively, which ensures interlockingreliable.
3. Compartment
The main electrical components in the switchgear have their own compartments, that is: breaker compartment, buscompartment, cable compartment and relay instrument compartment. The degree of each compartment reaches IP2X. Allcompartments, exc- ept the relay compartment, havetheir own pressure-relief passages. Because of the intermediate type, the cable compartment is large enough to connect multiplecables.
4. Interlocking device preventing error operation
There is areliable interlocking devicein the cubicle, which completelymeets fail-safe requirements.
Othere installed an obvious push-button or a change-over switch inthe door of the relay instrument compartment toprevent the circuit breaker from error closing or breaking.
Oonly when the circuit breaker handcartis on the testing position, or on working position, can the circuit breaker be conducted wth operation, besides, the circuit breaker can no tmove when it is switched on, which prevents the on-load closing or breaking. Oonly when the ground switch isopening, can the circuitbreaker handcart be movedfrom testing/off positiontoworking position; only when the circuit breaker handcartis on testing/offposition, canthe ground switch be operated with closing(the ground sw- itch can bewith alive displaying device), which can prevent closing the ground switch by error with current carrying and prevent close the circuit breaker when the groundswitch is ontheoff position.
Owhen the ground switch is on opening position, the lower door and the rear door can not be opened, which prevents entering the alive bay.
Owhen the circuit breaker handcart is ontesting or working position without controlvoltage can only manuallyopening be operated, closing cannot be conducted.
Owhen the circuit breaker is on working position, the secondary plug is locked and won' t be pulled out. Othe cubicle can beequipped with electric interlocking.
An electromagnet locking device can beequiped on the grounding operating mechanism so as to raise reliaility. The user may choose when ordering.
5. Pressure-relief device
Above such compartments as of circuit breakerhandcart, bus-bar and cable, there s apressure-relief device. Asafaultoccurs on the circuit breaker or bus-bar, which willproduce an arc, the air pressure in the cubicle will ise, the special sealing ring mo- unted on the door will enclose the front door, the pressure-relief metal plate on the top will pen automatically and relieve pres- sure and discharge gases, which will ensure safety of operators and switchgears.
6. Interlocking of secondary plug with handcart position
The link between the secondary line of the switchgear and that of circuit breaker' s handcart isreallzed by manual secondaryplug. Themoving contact of the secondary plugis connected with the circuitbreaker' s handcartby a nylon corrugated tube. The seco-ndary stationary contact blockis mounted on the upper right of the handcart compartment. Only when the circuit breaker' s hand- cartis on testing/breaking position can the secondary plug be plugged or unplugged; when the circuit breaker' s handcart is on working position, the secondary plugis locked itcan not be unplugged because of mechanicalinterlocking. Because the closing mechanism s locked by an electromagneticlock, only switching-offcan be operated for breaker' s handcart before the secondary plug is switched-on.
7. Live displaying device
Alive displaying device can be equipped for monitoringprimary circuit. The device s composed of aHV sensor and a portable displayer. The device not only candisplay charged state of theHV circuit, but also cancooperate with the electromagnetic lock, which can prevent error operation and entering the live bay.
8. Anti-condensation and anti-corrosion
A heater is installed in the breaker' s and cable' s compartments so as to prevent condensation and corrosion.
9. Grounding device
There installeda 10×40mm²grounding copper bar in the cable compartment, which connectsadjacent cubicles by penetrating and contacts cubicles well, in this way, allcubicles are in good state of grounding, which makes operators and cubicles safe.
