On October 13, the core equipment "BGFM-10.5/3000 combined box-type busducts" for the Phase II coal-fired power station project of Zambia Maamba, manufactured by our company, has completed the entire production process and was officially shipped to the project site. This not only marks the successful achievement of the delivery milestone for the key power equipment of the project, but also demonstrates Jiangsu Okey Electric Co., Ltd.'s technical strength and contract performance capability in the field of high-demand overseas power engineering.

As a key local energy project in Zambia, the Phase II project of Maamba Power Station has strict requirements on the reliability, environmental adaptability and whole-life-cycle quality of power equipment. In response to the typical environment of high temperature, high humidity and high corrosion in Africa, Jiangsu Okey Electric has specially developed a "tropical enhanced" combined box-type busduct solution, which ensures the stable operation of the equipment from three core dimensions:

Superior Corrosion and Weather Resistance: The enclosure adopts IP65 protection class design, combined with weather-resistant copper bars and anti-seismic flexible connections. It has passed the IEC 61439 tropical climate certification and can operate continuously and stably in extreme environments with a high temperature of 45℃ and a relative humidity of 95%.
High-load Current Transmission: It supports a large current transmission capacity of 5000A, accurately meeting the power supply needs of the "main artery" of electricity in the core area of the power station and ensuring efficient energy transmission.
Whole-life-cycle Cost Optimization: Compared with the traditional cable solution, this combined box-type busduct can save 42% of cable tray usage, reduce 35% of land excavation area, and lower the whole-life-cycle cost by 28%, achieving a dual balance of economy and practicality for the project.

To ensure that the products fully meet the project requirements, Jiangsu Okey strictly followed the project Quality Assurance Plan (QAP Document No.: MEL-RUNH-QAP-0052) and built a quality control system covering the entire production process. During the acceptance phase, the team completed the collation and filing of the full set of quality documents in advance, including:
Core Material Certification: Key components such as aluminum plates, copper bars and insulators all comply with the triple standards of ISO, IEC and GB, and complete material certificates are provided.

Key Performance Testing: The power frequency withstand voltage test was completed in accordance with the IEEE C37.23-2015 standard, and the insulation resistance test was carried out in accordance with the IEC 60071 standard, with all test data meeting the standards.

Detailed Quality Inspection: A special inspection report covering product model specifications, dimensional accuracy and appearance quality was formulated.
The standardized and transparent document management and quality control not only ensure the efficient progress of the acceptance process, but also lay a solid foundation for the safe and reliable operation of the equipment from the source.

In this project cooperation, Jiangsu Okey Electric maintained close collaboration with the owner and the EPC general contractor. Relying on customized technical solutions, strict quality control, and efficient performance efficiency, it has won high recognition from all parties, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent expansion into overseas markets such as ASEAN and Africa.
This batch of compact busbars, as key power carriers of the power station, will directly contribute to the green energy supply after the project is put into operation. They will provide important support for Zambia and surrounding regions in transforming the energy structure and achieving the "dual carbon" goals, and become an important milestone for Jiangsu Okey Electric to deeply cultivate the "Belt and Road" market and fulfill the mission of green energy。
On October 13, this batch of BGFM-10.5/3000 combined box-type busducts was shipped as scheduled, marking the successful completion of the delivery task of the key power equipment for the Phase II project of Zambia Maamba Power Station. In the future, the company will continue to focus on the R&D and innovation of power equipment suitable for special environments such as high temperature and high humidity, deepen technical cooperation and project collaboration with global energy enterprises, and promote the continuous improvement of the influence of "Made in China" (Intelligent Manufacturing) in the international power market with more high-quality intelligent power transmission and distribution solutions, injecting Okey's strength into more "Belt and Road" energy projects.
