Recently, Jiangsu Okey Electric Co., Ltd. supplied hot-dip galvanized cable trays to a green building project in Tibet. This large-scale supply not only provides a solid power transmission guarantee for this landmark green project on the plateau but also marks Okey Electric's increasingly important role in the national new energy strategic layout, backed by its outstanding product performance and system solution capabilities.

As a national clean energy base, Tibet ranks first in the country in terms of total hydropower, solar, and geothermal resources. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Tibet's clean energy industry has accelerated its rise, with a large number of photovoltaic, wind power, and hydropower projects being implemented one after another. With the extension of the "Electricity Transmission Sky Road" and the upgrading of the power grid, Tibet is making every effort to build a new development pattern of "one base and two demonstrations" for clean energy. The installed capacity of clean energy now exceeds 96%, and the share of power generation is nearly 100%, both ranking first in China.
The key green building project in Tibet that Jiangsu Okey Electric has participated in is an important part of the clean energy infrastructure development on the plateau. This project places extremely high demands on the weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength of electrical line protection products. Facing harsh natural conditions such as high altitude, strong ultraviolet radiation, and large temperature differences, the hot-dip galvanized cable trays supplied by Jiangsu Okey Electric, with their excellent anti-corrosion performance and structural stability, have become a solid guarantee for the safe operation of the project's power transmission lines.

Cable trays are known as the "expressway" and "sturdy shield" for cables, serving as a key carrier to ensure the safe, stable, and efficient operation of power systems. The hot-dip galvanized cable trays supplied by Okey Electric are made of high-quality cold-rolled steel sheets as the base material, which are then dipped in molten zinc at approximately 600°C, forming a dense zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer on the steel surface. This process achieves a zinc coating thickness of 60–80 microns, far exceeding that of ordinary electro-galvanizing, providing excellent physical isolation and electrochemical protection, thereby laying a physical foundation for the long-term stable operation of the project.
Tibet's unique natural environment—high altitude, strong ultraviolet radiation, and large temperature differences between day and night—imposes extreme requirements on the weather resistance and anti-corrosion performance of outdoor electrical equipment. Okey Electric is well aware of this, and the hot-dip galvanized cable trays it supplies are precisely the "key tool" for coping with such harsh environments.

The successful service to this key project in Tibet stems from Okey Electric's deep technical expertise and persistent pursuit of quality. Since its establishment in 2008, the company has focused on the R&D and manufacturing of new-type electrical equipment. In 2025, it was successfully recognized as a "Jiangsu Provincial Specialized and Sophisticated SME" (Specialization, Refinement, Differentiation, Innovation), earning official recognition for its development path.
In the new energy sector, Okey Electric has already made strategic moves. Its products have been widely used in clean energy projects such as photovoltaic power stations and wind farms. The company has previously provided critical common enclosure busway systems for a benchmark smart city project, helping achieve green energy strategies and "net-zero emissions" goals. The collaboration on the Tibet project represents another successful application of Okey Electric's new energy solutions in the harsh environment of the plateau.

In recent years, the scale of clean energy transmission from Tibet has continued to expand, with Tibetan electricity being delivered to more than ten provinces and cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, and Jiangsu. By 2025, the cumulative amount of transmitted electricity exceeded 6.3 billion kWh. In this process, stable and reliable power transmission and distribution auxiliary equipment has become a key link to ensure that green electricity is "delivered and utilized." With its highly adaptable and reliable products, Jiangsu Okey Electric has successfully integrated into this green industry chain, becoming an important participant in the construction of new energy projects.
As China's "dual carbon" goals advance, the new energy industry—represented by photovoltaics, wind power, and energy storage—is experiencing explosive growth, creating enormous demand for smart, green, and durable power infrastructure. Taking this opportunity, the company will continue to increase R&D investment, deepen technical exploration in areas such as special environmental adaptability, product lightweighting, and intelligence, and provide more safe, efficient, and reliable electrical connection solutions to actively serve green energy infrastructure construction both nationally and globally. On the journey of promoting energy transition and helping achieve the "dual carbon" goals, Okey Electric is writing a green (answer sheet) of high-quality development through concrete actions.
