Recently, the ABB-authorized low-voltage switchgear MDmax ST, custom-tailored by our company for a key project in Micronesia, has successfully passed the client's rigorous acceptance inspection and is now ready for shipment, set to cross the ocean to provide reliable power protection for overseas infrastructure construction. Located in the central Pacific, Micronesia serves as a significant extension of the Belt and Road Initiative. Its power infrastructure development imposes stringent requirements on equipment safety, reliability, and environmental adaptability. The MDmax ST low-voltage switchgear supplied for this project is one of the core products of OK Electric as an authorized partner of the ABB low-voltage brand. It is a fully type-tested assembly (TTA) and complies with international standards including GB/T 7251.12-2013 and IEC 61439-1/2.
This cabinet series adopts a modular design concept, with its frame featuring double-bending technology on aluzinc steel plates, delivering both high strength and corrosion resistance, resulting in a robust and maintenance-free structure. The product is equipped with ABB's full range of low-voltage switching devices and can be flexibly configured into various functional units such as power distribution, reactive power compensation, and motor control. Its draw-out structure can accommodate up to 36 circuits, saving valuable on-site space while ensuring operational safety through three-position switching and mechanical interlocking mechanisms. These technical advantages provide a solid guarantee for the long-term stable operation of the project in the hot and humid island environment.
From production to delivery, OK Electric has always regarded "quality" as its lifeline. Throughout the manufacturing process of the MDmax ST cabinets, the company strictly implemented full-process inspections covering structural assembly, component installation, and primary flexible conductor connections. Dozens of details, including cabinet dimensions, surface coating, screw torque, and busbar connections, were individually verified to ensure that every switchgear leaving the factory meets the craftsmanship standards of being "level and plumb, firmly fixed, and tightly contacted." During the acceptance phase, the client conducted a comprehensive review of the product's technical performance, manufacturing processes, and documentation integrity. Thanks to the excellent product quality and complete process records, this batch of MDmax ST cabinets passed the client's acceptance inspection with flying colors, earning high recognition from the customer.
