Recently, with the successful factory acceptance testing and delivery of the final batch of air-insulated busways to the customer, Jiangsu Okey Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Okey Electric") has completed its supply contract for a busway project at a Hainan refining and chemical facility. This delivery marks another solid step for Okey Electric in serving the national energy security strategy and supporting safe production in the petrochemical industry.

As a major refining and chemical enterprise under Sinopec, the Hainan refinery has long operated its electrical equipment in a coastal environment characterized by high loads, high temperatures, and high humidity. Some of the older busbar systems have shown potential risks such as insulation aging and inadequate heat dissipation. This project is a comprehensive upgrade of the substations and power distribution systems within the refinery area, aimed at eliminating operational risks in electrical equipment and enhancing the safety and reliability of the power supply system. As one of the core materials for this upgrade, the air-insulated wide busway plays a critical role in power transmission—its quality and performance directly affect the safe and stable operation of the refining units. Okey Electric supplied air-insulated busways of the KFM-HD series across multiple current ratings, covering 1600A to 3200A, fully meeting the distribution requirements of various load levels in the refinery area.
